Privacy policy

Draft for review — last updated October 2026.

What we collect

When you register for a session: name, email, mobile number, institution, participant category, optional course/designation, city and state, and your consent choices. For collaboration enquiries: institution and contact details you provide.

Why we collect it

To manage your registration, send confirmations and joining details, record attendance, prevent duplicate or abusive registrations, and produce aggregate campaign statistics. We send campaign updates only if you opt in.

Who can see it

Only authorised Naksh Foundation administrators. Participant details are never shown publicly. Host institutions may receive attendance summaries for their own sessions.

Retention

Registration records are kept for up to 12 months after the campaign ends for reporting, then deleted or anonymised. Aggregate statistics may be kept longer.

Your choices and deletion requests

You can cancel a registration through your private confirmation link. To access, correct or delete your data, contact us through the enquiry form on the Partners page with your registration ID; we will verify and respond.

Security

Data is stored with access controls that restrict it to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure; we review our controls periodically.

This policy is a working draft and must be reviewed against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law before launch.
